Welcome to our blog!

We are excited to announce that we finally set up our blog to stay in touch with family and friends.

So far we have had a great summer. The kids and I started off the summer in Germany. We had a great time! Some of the highlights of our trip were of course the visits with our family members and spending time in Omi's yard, but also the beach, the fire station, the farms, the boat ride, the long walks and bike rides, and the trip with the train. Jakob especially enjoyed playing with my old Siku cars, getting new and a lot (!) of sand for the sand box, letting Ingird's fish suck on his toes, and going to several plays at the theater. We took many walks through the pedestrian zone downtown, eating fresh pretzels, watching the escavators on some building sites, getting fresh fruits and veggies at the farmers market, and going to toy stores. Luckily we stayed for three months so we had the time to do and enjoy all of these things.
